Advent Time in the Hospice Association

'Cesta domů' (The Homecoming) is a hospice civic association that aspires to improve fundamentally the care of the terminally ill, the dying, and their families in the Czech Republic. Now it offers a new way of help: you can contribute to the terminally ill and dying by purchasing a present at the 'Cesta domů' office in Prague.Full text of the news in Czech: HERE.

Prague: 'Cesta domů' (The Homecoming) is a hospice civic association that aspires to improve fundamentally the care of the terminally ill, the dying, and their families in the Czech Republic. Despite some positive changes in this field over the last decade, majority of those who are dying in our country don't receive a quality care. Unnecessary pain, loneliness, loss of dignity, and other preventable forms of suffering therefore accompany the end of life of many of us. Association 'Cesta domů' tries to change this situation. Health workers as well as other professions representatives and civil authorities work in the association for spread of modern palliative care.

You can contribute to the terminally ill and dying by purchasing a present at the 'Cesta domů' office in Prague (Bubenská 3, Praha 7) every day except of Monday until 21 December 2006 from 10 am to 5 pm. Other information on the association: www.cestadomu.cz.
