On Monday May 24, 2010 the Prague Archbishop Dominik Duka and the President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus signed in the cathedral the agreement about the joint care for the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert.
Prague (CZ): The Prague Archbishop Dominik Duka and the President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus signed a festive declaration about the arrangement of the joint relations in the care for the cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert. This festive act took place in the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert on Monday May 24, 2010.
At this occasion the new Prague Archbishop Dominik Duka beside others pointed out that, 'The cathedral flourished always when both the State and the Church took care for the cathedral jointly and severally and when the cathedral was used to the benefit of both sides. I believe that also this agreement of the President of the Czech Republic and of the Prague archbishop is an expression of our joint will to ensure the reliable and harmonic joint cooperation in the care for the cathedral and its preservation for the future generations.'
