Three Kings' Procession in Prague

For the 12th year, the traditional procession of the Three Kings with camels and many people will leave the Archbishop's Palace on Friday 5 Jan 2007 at 3.30 pm. The procession will go to the square Loretánské náměstí, where the Three Magi will bow before the Child Jesus and give him their presents.Full text of the news in Czech: HERE.

Prague: The Three Kings will go together with their pages, Castle Guard, and costumed old Czechs, accompanied by the period musical instruments. The procession will go from the square Hradčanské náměstí through the Loretánská Street. At the end of the street they will meet King Herod. Then they will go to live Nativity Scene in the low part of the square Loretánské náměstí, where they will bow the Child Jesus and give him their presents – gold, incense and myrrh. Afterwards, all people can lay the things they want to give – on the next day these will be given to children at children's homes or at hospitals. The event is supposed to finish at 5 pm.
