Holy See confirmed visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the Czech Republic

Pope Benedict XVI received in audience yesterday, May 30, 2009, President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus.

Vatican: On the occasion of the audience of Czech President Vaclav Klaus in Vatican, the Press Office of the Holy See for the first time oficially confirmed date and place of this year's third apostolic journey of Pope Benedict XVI.

'Pope Benedict XVI acepted invitation of the President of the Czech Republic and of the Czech Bishops' Conference and on 26-28 September 2009 he will make an apostolic journey to the Czech Republic and visit Prague, Brno and Stara Boleslav.' The trip will be Holy Father's thirteenth journey abroad during his 4-year-long pontificate.
