Mons. Josef Koukl, the 18th bishop of Litoměřice died

On Saturday May 22, 2010 after 5 a.m. Mons. Josef Koukl, emeritus bishop of Litoměřice, died suddenly in his flat in the Episcopal residence in Litoměřice at the age of 83.

Litoměřice (CZ): On Saturday May 22, 2010 after 5 a.m. Mons. Josef Koukl, emeritus bishop of Litoměřice, died suddenly in his flat in the Episcopal residence in Litoměřice at the age of 83.

The funeral holy mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral of St. Stephen in Litoměřice on Saturday May 29, 2010 at 2 p.m.  After the Mass he will be buried in the bishops´ tomb at the  cemetery in Litoměřice.
